Shawn Pyfrom (Andrew Van De Kamp) said recently that the Hollywood lifestyle doesn't interest him much, and said he'd even seen unemployment as personal development.
"There are people who are so in tune with the energy around them, it's incredible," Pyfrom told Courier Journal.
He said he was more interested in his life journey than Hollywood, which he said is an illusion no to be confused with reality. "It's hard to communicate sometimes because people act like you're one of them, and talk as if all you care about is the free drinks at the bar and the hot girls who are waiting to jump your bones," Pyfrom said.
"While those things are enticing, I have a girlfriend and a life I care about. I have a group of friends I've known for a long time. ... As an actor, I try not to think much about whether I'll have a job two months from now. If it's meant to be, it'll happen. If I'm meant to be unemployed, it'll mold me in a different way."
