The tabloids don't need much excuse to get writing about the Desperate Housewives cast, but Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) admitted recently that she does sometimes give them ammunition—because she forgets to remove Gabrielle's wedding ring.

"It's caused controversy," she told TV Guide. "I'll hear, 'Tony and Eva are engaged!' I'm like, where are they getting that? And then I'll see a picture of [me wearing Gaby's] ring. I told Tony that he's going to have to buy me the same ring just so I can leave it on all the time!"

Longoria also said she was delighted that Maria Conchita Alonso has been hired to play Gabrielle's mother. "I'm thrilled. We're going to learn [through Lucia] why Gaby is the way that she is." The way she is can also be quite tiring, Longoria admitted. "Gaby's very high-maintenance. I get exhausted playing her! I'd much rather be wearing my Uggs [boots] right now."

In another interview, with The Star newspaper, Longoria spoke about her body. "I inherited my mom's legs and she looks like a Mexican version of Tina Turner. My butt's shapely too. I'd much, much rather have a nice butt than big boobs. God blessed me with some unique features—some beautiful in my eyes and some not so beautiful." She said the key to looking great was not going over the top. "I don't overdo the hair and make-up. And I show off my legs, not my cleavage, because you have to go with your assets."

Longoria doesn't count her breasts as her greatest asset, but pointed out she wouldn't do anything about it. "My boobs are small but I love being small. I'm never going to get bigger surgically. I've known so many women with big boobs who feel overweight or have back problems. I like working out and that's hard to do when you've got big ones bouncing around."

She also revealed information about her tattoos. "A rose was my first and I hate it," she admitted. "I was 17 and dumb and I've regretted it ever since. but I have a Celtic cross too and I love that. I have a blue tattoo of a star from The Little Price on my wrist."
