• According to Obvious News, Andrea Bowen (Julie Mayer) will be one of the guest hosts on ABC's The View sometime over the next few weeks, taking over from co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who's going on a six-week maternity leave.

• Tired of waiting more than a month for a new DH episode? Creator Marc Cherry knows how you feel. "I went to a party with a bunch of old friends," he told Florida Today, "and I was assaulted with: 'Where's the show? What's going on?' We're all getting it."

• Culp-Ability.com notes that on the 23rd, the 27th and the 30th of April, New York's Fourth Annual Tribeca Film Festival will host screenings of The Sisters, an indie film based on Anton Chekhov's The Three Sisters that stars Steven Culp (Rex Van De Kamp). The film was directed by Arthur Allan Seidelman and has been selected for Tribeca's Narrative Feature Film Competition.

• JesseMetcalfe.net has posted new pictures of Jesse Metcalfe (John Rowland) from Life & Style Magazine, and the German Joy Celebrity magazine. The site also promises it will have a new lay-out up on the 1st of April.

• Grey's Anatomy lead actor Patrick Dempsey told the Boston Herald he's thrilled his show has been given the post-DH timeslot for the next seven weeks, giving it a good chance to gain an audience. The medical drama premieres tonight at 10pm on ABC, following "The Ladies Who Lunch." "Now that we have a great lead-in," he said, "we're hoping that will give us a nice jumpstart and a strong fan base will just stay there."

• Felicity Huffman Online has five new photos of the four main Desperate Housewives, taken from a recent photoshoot for Vogue magazine.

• The Associated Press recently interviewed Welsh singer Jem, whose name you may not recognise, but whose song Come on Closer was used frequently in TV spots promoting Desperate Housewives. "

• Desperate Housewives is scheduled to make its Swedish debut on Tuesday the 29th of March, on local TV station Kanal 5. Thanks go out to 'PF' for this!

• ABC has revamped the official Desperate Housewives site, which now features new wallpapers and AIM icons sporting the likenesses of the primary DH cast, extensive episode recaps, and some video clips from the show.

• Europe's Digital Media News notes that Desperate Housewives has become an increasingly popular term in spam emails.

• Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Britt) will likely be attending this year's Logie Awards, organised by the Australian TV station Channel Nine, the Mercury News reports.

• The Boston Globe features an interview with Anne Depina, one of the hundreds of thousands of women in the Boston area who enjoy Desperate Housewives because it reminds them of their own life.

• DesperateFans.org has uploaded new photo galleries for both Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo) and Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp).

• PlanetOut has posted an interview with Ryan Carnes, who played the gay gardener Justin on DH.

• An anonymous female bidder recently paid $100,000 for a lunch with Teri Hatcher and James Denton (Mike Delfino) at a charity auction. The AP reports the bidding originally went up to $35,000, until Hatcher threw in Denton, too, and then the bids quickly jumped up to the six-figure number.
