If you're concerned that season two of Desperate Housewives won't live up to the standards of season one don't worry, as James Denton (Mike Delfino) says you have nothing to worry about.
"You know, the first episode is really fantastic," Denton told 9News "I was anxious to read it because I hoped it lived up to last year's success and it's my favorite one on paper by far. We just finished up the first episode. We're starting episode two on Monday and they're both really good. I think everyone's going to be satisfied. All the characters jump out of the gate with brand new storylines. There's a brand new mystery and I think people will be real happy with it."
One thing that does need to be resolved though is if Zach is Mike's son. However it doesn't sound as if that will be revealed immediately. "I don't think he is but they won't tell me," admitted Denton. However he'd rather Zach not be his on-screen offspring. "I don't want to be the dad of that crazy kid."
Of course Denton's appearance in episode two probably means that Mike is safe from the gunshot heard at the end of season one, however he didn't want to reveal too many details. "I'm in episode two. That's about all I can tell you," he said. "The gun goes off. I can't tell you who gets shot, or what gets shot, but it's a really great scene. It lives up to the hype."
