Josh Henderson has signed on to play Edie's "bad boy nephew", and spoke about his role as the latest arrival on Wisteria Lane.

"He's a drinker/smoker guy who comes in on a motorcycle," he told TV Guide. "For me it's a fun, perfect character in that he's edgy and dark and mysterious. You want to know more about him." But he admits he himself is in the dark to what his character is all about. "The show is very secretive so they didn't tell me too much about him."

He said that Nicollette Sheridan, who plays his on screen aunt, has taken him under her wing. "Within the first 20 minutes of meeting her I felt like I had known her for years," he said. "She's been so good about welcoming me, she's a real sweetheart. So far I've only worked with Nicollette and with Andrea Bowen ... she's a sweetheart, too. Everyone has been so nice."

Henderson's other roles include the film Step Up and TV series Over There. His role in Housewives confirms plot details published by Get Desperate! in June (story) that indicated "a new bad boy character will ruffle feathers on Wisteria Lane".
