By Christian May 25, 2005 - 9:59 PMIt's only been three days since ABC aired the season finale of Desperate Housewives, but already the first info for the show's second season has appeared on the internet.
"Edie will make it into the next season, yes, and so will her house," actress Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Britt) told TV diva Kristin at E! Online. The actress went on to hint her character might even be involved in another cast addition: "Her house will be built next season, and her six-year-old son that we heard about in the pilot is going to come visit."
Meanwhile, DH creator Marc Cherry spoke to TV Guide columnist Michael Ausiello about the way he's going to replace Rex next year. "A new man will enter Bree's life and he will have a shocking secret of his own." In addition, Cherry confirmed there will be a new love interest for Gabrielle, who will complicate the relationship between her and Carlos even further.
For those of you hoping Cherry will scrap plans to bring in a new man for Bree, and instead resurrect Steven Culp's Rex van de Kamp, Ausiello offered some unfortunate news: "Rex is really (I think) dead." The columnist noted that both Cherry and Culp will confirm this in the June 2 edition of TV Guide.
