• Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer) is suing The Sport, reported Scotsman.com. The newspaper originated the untrue rumor that Hatcher had sex in VW van parked at her home. While rumors about the stars are commonplace, it would seem Hatcher took particular offence about the claim that she did this to avoid being caught by her daughter. "Ms Hatcher is a single mother who naturally takes a pride in protecting and bringing up her daughter at home in a caring and responsible way, and bitterly refutes these offensive allegations," said a statement by her law firm.

• Page Kennedy (Caleb) appeared on AccessHollywood to protest his innocence after being fired from Desperate Housewives. "I'm telling you that all the things that people are saying about me, all the rumors, are not true," said Kennedy. But he said he wouldn't sue the studio for his dismissal. "I'm just moving on with my life."

• Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo) scared her children when starring as a transsexual in Transamerica, mostly due to the deep voice she had to adopt for the role. "My oldest, who was four at the time, kind of got it but my two-year-old freaked out," she said, according to contactmusic.com "I immediately dropped the voice and started screaming in a high pitch, 'Hi, it's me! It's mamma!' She finally got over it but she didn't dig it."

• Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) poked fun at the Vanity Fair photoshoot that spurred rumors of on-set fights on Saturday Night Live reported contactmusic.com. The sketch had a twist, however, as she played Teri Hatcher. She also had a go at singing on the show. "I'll be rapping and singing horrible. I can't sing," she said. Extra meanwhile followed what the housewives were doing for a weekend, and asked Hatcher what she thought of the skit. "I didn't see it," she said.

• Teri Hatcher said she will be celebrating Thanksgiving while on a plane with her daughter Emerson. "This year we're actually travelling and so I'm going to make Thanksgiving dinner the night before and pack it up in one of those hot boxes that they bring the pizza in and bring it on the plane," she said according to contactmusic.com. "I'm going to Europe so they won't be having Thanksgiving. We're going to eat it on the plane, we're going to have cranberry sauce and turkey and stuffing on the plane."

• Eva Longoria had her car towed away, according to Hollywood.com, so the website accused her of being a "diva" after she had to call for a taxi. Longoria then accidentally got into someone else's cab. "I was standing there with this New York woman who was also waiting for a taxi and I thought, 'She's gonna steal my cab,'" she said. "So, when the car pulled up I dashed to it and got in. Then the driver said, 'Are you Sally?' It was her cab!" Defamer also alleged diva behavior, and accused Longoria of not giving enough money to a parking attendant then—when she was asked for the money—allegedly screamed: "Jesus! It's Thanksgiving. Be nice. FUCK!"

• contactmusic.com reported on an In Touch news item that said Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Britt) bought herself a $100,000 platinum-and-diamond ring as a present for herself.

• Television News Zealand, in an article on celebrity gossip, commented on the misleading title on a magazine that screamed "Desperate Housewives Shocking Sex Change". It was in fact just talking about Felicity Huffman's role in Transamerica.
