In the season finale, Edie's mother visits Wisteria Lane. But Edie's mother is dead.

Get Desperate! sources revealed that Edie will promise a Carlos a baby, but she secretly takes the pill in the hope that he will fall in love with her and change his mind about a baby. However will Edie's conscience get the better of her? Her dead mother visits, accusing Edie of being a slut, and Edie must decide whether to come clean and risk losing Carlos.

On the wedding front, Gabrielle ties the knot and Susan decides to put three years of dithering behind her and marry Mike! Although the impromptu private ceremony comes as a surprise to the groom.

Also in the episode, Victor's father turns up, and Gabrielle is concerned when she finds out that Victor's not happy with winning the mayoral election and is already aiming to be state Governor.
