  • Desperate Housewives is now third in Canadian TV's ratings, reported Pop Journalism, with 2,935,000 viewers for the country's latest episode.

  • Renée Graham has written an article at the Boston Globe discussing how the recent reports of on-set friction play to stereotypes. "We're most likely to hear about it only when it involves predominantly female casts, reinforcing stubborn images of women as ferocious harpies who enjoy nothing more than clawing one another's eyes out."

  • The official Desperate Housewives website posted a clip of a previous episode called "Which way to Wisteria Lane?", combining it with a plug for their new Muppets movie based up on the Wizard of Oz.

  • Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) is interviewed in the new young womens' magazine Inside TV, according to the New York Post.

  • James Denton (Mike Delfino) will attend the Southern Women's Show at NC State Fairgrounds on April 24, according to Ultimate Desperate Housewives.

  • Eva Longoria recently visited her Mexican ancestral home for the first time, according to contactmusic.com. "I feel at home here. It's not foreign to me even though I've never been here," she said.

  • Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp) will host a concert to benefit the James M. Berg Scholarship Fund on Sunday April 24, according to a press release.

  • The Eva Longoria Fan Galleries has posted images of Eva from Esquire magazine.

  • Monterey County Herald has published an article comparing Wisteria Lane to the real-life Wisteria Court.

  • The Sydney Morning Herald is appealing for fans' scenarios on how Lost and Desperate Housewives will finish their first seasons. They have already published a selection of entries.

  • The New York Times has posted an analysis of the male/female split in US TV audiences, and how the demographics will be split when NBC airs football against Desperate Housewives.

  • The Futon Critic has published a list of network upfront dates. This is when the TV networks will announce their fall schedules, and the fate of many shows will be known. However it is already know that Desperate Housewives will be renewed.

  • An Associated Press article ponders ABC's Mondays nights, and says that ABC may try to create a Desperate Housewives-like show for its Monday schedule.

  • In an article at the Telegraph about purchasing advertising, mention is given to a system called PropheSEE that monitors "internet chatter, blogs, and message boards" to gauge how popular a show will be. The system predicted that Desperate Housewives and Lost would both be hits.
