• PR Newswire carried a press release saying that Brenda Strong (Mary Alice Young) will be the spokesperson for The American Fertility Association. Like her character, Strong wrestled with fertility, and according to the press release turned to Yoga to help alleviate the stress brought on by the condition. "It's difficult to love your body when you feel like it's failing you. Yoga reduced my stress and bodily tension. It allowed me to bring my body back into balance, to emerge from my fertility struggle with my sense of self esteem and self worth intact, and to forge a stronger bond with my husband," said Strong.

• ET reported that a number of the housewives participated in Les Girls 5," a cabaret show to benefit the National Breast Cancer Coalition. Marc Cherry even got up and sang a song. "He's not only a talented writer, he's a talented singer," said Brenda Strong (Mary Alice Young). "He's outshining all of us."
