• Cody Kasch (Zach Young) can relax: a New York judge ruled last Monday that a drug-possession charge will be removed from his record, if he can stay out of trouble for one year, according to a report on E! Online. Kasch was arrested in Manhattan in May after he was allegedly spotted using marihuana.

• "Scandal alert," E! Online also proclaimed last week, passing along a rumour that a Desperate Housewives cast member who's "a tad argumentative [and] a tad clumsy" has been banned from appearing at several official DH events. Supposedly the web site will reveal which cast member they're referring to in their gossip section this week.

• Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) has quickly become a household name over the past year, appearing on many magazine covers and even being named Maxim's Hottest Woman of the Year. But speaking to Contact Music, she said there was a downside to being famous, too. "I have people camped outside of my house, and it's very scary. I'm a single woman living alone. I don't know who's in the bushes, if it's paparazzi or a rapist. But yet they have the right to photograph whatever they want, whenever they want and however they want - and the tabloids write whatever they want. I don't understand how this has been allowed for so long."

• And speaking to the Los Angeles Daily News, Longoria lamented not being able to join her DH colleagues on a promotional trip to Europe. "I definitely keep in touch with my girls. Marcia and I are very close ... we talk almost every week, and I just talked to Felicity yesterday," she said. "They'll be gone for two weeks, and it's so sad I can't go. I'd love to hang out with Marcia and everybody in Europe promoting the show."

• Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp) last week revealed she feels terribly uncomfortable when hanging out with her fellow Desperate Housewives cast members, as she's so unlike her particular character. "I'm the least domesticated of all the girls; they all knit and cook," she told Contact Music. "I'm sitting there playing Bree, who's so domestic, and I can't do a thing."
