In the seventh episode of season two, Gabrielle is finding that her modelling days seem to be a thing of the distant past.
Gabrielle decides to take a break from Carlos-related problems to visit an old friend, Lucius, who owns a clothes shop. He's upset that she hasn't been by in a while, but as Gabrielle has friends from her modelling days arriving she wants to look her best in a Vera Wang dress. But Gabrielle is upset that her usual dress size feels a little tight.
Lucius suggests it's because she's pregnant, but Gabrielle won't have anything of it. The solution is simple: she'll just not eat for a couple of days! However, the plan ends up as a disaster when a few days later she can't get in the dress at all. The situation goes from bad to worse when she tries to enlist help.
Meanwhile one of the housewives is caught up in an embarrassing situation when she has to confront someone over a home-made sex film that her children began to watch.
In other news, Kristin at E! Online reported that Joely Fisher, who plays Lynette's new boss in season two, is pregnant. Her character isn't too positive about children, so seeing the storyline potential Marc Cherry has allegedly decided to write it into the show. "Marc Cherry is THRILLED about the pregnancy because it's a great, unexpected twist to her character," wrote Kristin.
Kristine also said that Carlos's lawyer, played by Adrian Pasdar, will have his way with Gabrielle. "I hear that as of the fourth or fifth episode, Eva and Adrian are getting hot and heavy," she said.
