By Antony September 20, 2006 - 5:20 PMAn ABC interviewer popped behind the scenes of a "closed set" where the guys of Desperate Housewives where posing for a photoshoot, where "no one gets in" apart from ABC. So she took the chance to ask challenging and demanding questions of the stars.
"How do you like having your picture taken", she asked James Denton (Mike Delfino), who ended season two with his character being run over and starts season three in a coma. "The photoshoot would be great but I bust my tooth," he revealed. She was equally as in depth when interviewing the other guys of Wisteria Lane.
On a scale of 1 to 10, how much did Ricardo Antonio Chavira (Carlos Solis) want to be watching football instead? "40," was his response. New cast member Dougray Scott (Ian Kavanaugh) said it was "fair game" for Susan and his character to become involved even though their partners were in comas. Shawn Pyfrom (Andrew Van De Kamp) said it was "amazing" to work with Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp) as "she's totally laid back, very cool". And Doug Savant (Tom Scavo) spoke about working with Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo). "I wish I never said it before, but I'll say it again. 'I'm like every good mormon, I love both my wives.'"
She also spoke to new guy Josh Henderson, who has joined the show as Edie's nephew Austin Britt, about his impressions of the set. "Everyone is absolutely welcoming and nice," he said. "One of the first things I noticed is that everyone who comes to work just has fun. They're just glad to be there. I'm having fun, everything I'd doing I'm having a freaking blast."
