• Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp) was turned down for a film role she wanted because of her high profile, according to PR Inside. "I was flattered but I really wanted my three leads to be unknowns," said Shane Stanley, director of Corners. "It rarely works when you try to put high-profile TV stars in small-budget real-life movies. It's ironic because I had written a part with Marcia in mind before Desperate Housewives took off, and I wanted her for the smaller part."

• Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) has revealed that Marcia Cross's real-life pregancy will be worked into the show's storyline, reported Monsters and Critics. "They are writing it in," she said. "But I don't know who the father will be. Who knows who is going to knock her up?"

• Eva Longoria has treated herself to a $3.8 million home in Hollywood Hills, said cbs2.com. Apparantly she is moving from a "1920s-era, three-bedroom Mediterranean" home which cost her $1.2 million in 2005, to her new home which "boasts six bedrooms, nine baths, a screening room, game room, gym, wine cellar, pool, spa and deck."

• Still enjoying the publicity machine, Jesse Metcalfe (John Rowland) and Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle are having a disagreement over whether singer Justin Timberlake hit on Coyle. Metcalfe is said to have alleged that Timberlake was "chatting her up, making some moves and trying to pour her drinks" according to PR inside, but Coyle has said "Jesse gets a bit excited when he's telling the story and keeps saying that Justin hit on me, but he didn't!"

• Jesse Metcalfe Photo Gallery has posted two new galleries of Metcalfe Photos. The first features Metcalfe at the Pure Nightclub celebrating the release of John Tucker Must Die, and the other is of Metcalfe in London with Nadine Coyle. It would seem Timberlake didn't break them up after all, you'll be relieved to see.

• Eva Longoria enjoyed a Prince performance at an Emmys party, according to USATODAY.com. "I love the '80s," she said. "Prince was the first concert I ever saw. I'm waiting to hear Purple Rain and all his old stuff." Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo) and Alfre Woodard (Betty Applewhite) also attended.

• Entertainment magazine takes it readers "behind the scenes of of the sexier, funnier season three" in its September issue and Eva Longoria Fan has some scans of the cover (which features Longoria) and images from inside.

• Felicity Huffman attended an event to promote a new AOL game, but arrived late and caused a disturbance when photographers swarmed her. "What can I do? They just won't leave me alone!" she is quoted as joking by LA Dail News.

• Susan may be getting a British love interest in the show, but it's Eva Longoria who has a thing for them in real life. "I just love a British accent and I'm all for British gentlemen," she admitted, reported PR Inside.
