Desperate Housewives cast and crew are continuing to say "everything's okay" following the recent Vanity Fair article that said there was tension amongst the cast.

"There are some tense and ugly moments [on set]," creator Marc Cherry told The Sunday Times. "We're not insanely happy. We're not lobotomized. But if there's ever a moment where someone goes, you know, 'get out of my make-up chair', it's so tiny."

Doug Savant (Tom Scavo) also wanted to quash rumors of nastiness. "People want to create drama between the actors on set," he told The Daily Telegraph. "They're interested in stirring things up. But for the record, it's a fantastic place to work. Teri [Hatcher (Susan Mayer)] has had a 40th birthday party, Nicollette [Sheridan (Edie Britt)] has had birthday party and Eva [Longoria (Gabrielle Solis)] turned 30 this year. They all threw these incredibly huge parties and all of our women were partying together and having a great time. This is not an unfriendly group."

• Eva Longoria apparantly fancies Prince William, according to FemaleFirst.co.uk.
