• Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp) has joined the Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet, according to a press release at the Red Cross website. "Members promote awareness of Red Cross services in a variety of ways", said the press release, "such as taping public service announcements; conducting media interviews about the organization; donating their time, money and blood; visiting disaster sites; feeding victims of disaster and generally lending a hand or a hug to those in need." • Pan and Scan slammed the DVD cover art of Felicity Huffman's (Lynette Scavo) Transamerica for being a "box art follie". The studio has decided to break the third wall and have a picture of Huffman out of makeup on the cover which, as you tilt the cover, morphs into her transsexual character Bree. "If you saw Felicity Huffman's Oscar nominated, transformative performance as transgendered mother Bree in the acclaimed indie film 'Transamerica,' you know the reason it was so heartbreakingly affecting was because it wasn't a gimmick," said the site. "So leave it to the marketing geniuses at Genius Products and the Weinstein Co. to honor Huffman's bravery and talent with what may be the tackiest bit of stunt packaging yet seen on a DVD."

• Marcia Cross will appear on The Late Show with David Letterman tomorrow, March 21 2006, according to Ultimate Desperate Housewives. Then on March 24, Felicity Huffman will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

• Eva Longoria Fan posted caps of an Entertainment Tonight sneak peek at stylish pictures of Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) in the April edition of Allure magazine.

• The Courier-Journal took a look at Time Bomb, a new CBS telemovie which the network hopes will offer some resistance to the soapy Desperate Housewives and Grey's Anatomy. "The movie is about a terrorist plot to blow up a pro football stadium with 65,000 people in it, including the wife and son of the Homeland Security guy," said the article.

• ABC will begin testing streaming its programming over the internet in April, according to Breaking News.

• TVI Actors Studio announced its twentieth birthday via a press release, and named Eva Longoria as one of its alumni. "TVI Actors Studio opened the doors of its New York studio in March 1986, to professional and aspiring actors," said the release which can be read at PRWeb. "Founded on the idea that the actor can take charge of his or her own career, the school prides itself on connecting actors to industry professionals."

• MySA.com compared Desperate Housewives to new reality TV show The Real Housewives of Orange County. "After seeing two of the seven episodes, I'm—dare I say it?—hooked.
