Desperate Housewives not only returned to the top of its hour, but to the top of the ratings for the entire of Sunday night.
According to figures released by Zap2it, "The Little Things We Do Together" scored a 11.7 rating with a 18 share. These figures mean that of all households in the United States with television sets, 11.7% were tuned into DH, as well as 18% of those households actually watching television on Sunday at 9:00pm.
That was up from last week's 11.3/17, when Housewives came second in the hour against CBS's broadcast of The Grammys, and is considerably up on the 10.6/15 it received in late-January when it was up against the Superbowl.
Overall ABC came first in total households with 8.2/13, beating CBS's 7.1/11. ABC was also top in the all-important 18–49 demographic, with its 4.9 beating FOX's 4.1.
Housewives lead-out Brothers & Sisters scored a 8.0/13, which is down a bit from recent ratings. However Without A Trace weakened to 7.4/12 allowing Brothers and Sisters to take the top spot for its hour, and Crossing Jordan was left languishing in third for NBC. Brothers & Sisters is no Grey's Anatomy yet, but it is consistent and taking the top spot won't go unnoticed at ABC.
