- The Desperate Housewives PC game was given a B rating in a review at EW.com. "The plot, separated into a dozen bite-size chapters, is surprisingly engaging, thanks in no small part to it being scripted by a member of the show's writing team. Some polished voice work from Brenda Strong, the same actress who provides the series' disembodied narration, also adds a level of authenticity, and the game producers don't shy away from having you regularly interact with Gaby, Bree, Susan, Lynette, and Edie (voiced by stand-ins who do a bang-up job of sounding like Teri Hatcher et al)."
- Meanwhile, Spong said the game would be out in the UK on November 3rd, and spoke to Graham Hopper, senior vice president and general manager, Buena Vista Games. "News and reviews of the game will appear across the board in a range of leading women's lifestyle magazines, such as Elle, Cosmo, Glamour, Heat, as well as the more weeklies such as Closer and Now," he said.
- In an opinion editorial at The Daily Orange, Jennifer Williams said Desperate Housewives "routinely presents [stereotypes] in regard to race and gender" and cautioned at the danger of discrimination in pop culture. "Last's season's only black family, the Applewhites, was hiding a violent, mentally challenged son, Caleb, in a basement dungeon," she wrote. "We later find out that the 'good' son, Matthew, is actually a murderer and rapist. Almost immediately after this revelation, the Applewhite family leaves Wisteria Lane in the middle of the night. That's it, end of story. The viewer is left with nothing to chew on but the fact that all the show's black male characters are violent."
- Verizon Wireless announced in a press release via PR Newswire that it secured the rights to offer music videos from ABC shows. A Housewives music video is "You Really Got Me," with a new recording by Jerry Brunskilland features footage from the dirty laundry advertising campaign. "We have a great relationship with Verizon Wireless and are excited to offer one-of-a-kind music videos from Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy and Lost to V CAST customers," said Bruce Gersh, senior vice president, business development, ABC Entertainment and Touchstone Television.
- C21Media reported that Buena Vista International Television signed a deal for episodes of Housewives and Grey's Anatomy to be broadcast on 3G phones to ABSi customers in the Philippines.
- Jesse Metcalfe (John Rowland) hosted the Paul O'Grady show for an afternoon according to contactmusic.com.
