On a whirlwind tour of Europe to promote Desperate Housewives, a number of castmembers have gave their views on the fan attention.

"You know what's great?" Brenda Strong (Mary Alice Young) told Extra. "Wherever I go, [fans] are so happy to see me alive. They're like, 'Oh, you're not dead. You're for real.'" Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Britt) said it was all going very quickly. "It's been a bit of a whirlwind, I must say," Sheridan said. "We started off two weeks ago in London, just arrived from Rome a couple of days ago and voila!"

Looking to the future, it's a little vague for the actresses. Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp) said she doesn't know what the future holds for her character. "They don't tell me, I won't know until I read the script," she said. And of a more personal nature, Sheridan was asked if she knew when she was going to get married. "I don't know, we're thinking 2025," she joked. "Better late than never."

The hiatus, for most of the castmembers, has been as busy as when they were filming. While Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) has been filming The Sentinel, many of the castmembers have been on the European promotional tour. In the UK alone, appearances included Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer) on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and Strong, Cross and James Denton (Mike Delfino) on Richard and Judy.
