One of the couples on Desperate Housewives will have to go to great lengths in the upcoming season finale to convince a judge that the female half of the couple should stay out of jail.
Last week, Get Desperate! sources revealed that in one of the final episodes of the season, one of the Desperate Husbands will be arrested after breaking into the house of a man he suspects his wife is sleeping with. It now turns out that one of the Housewives on Wisteria Lane can be just as suspicious, as the finale will feature her being put on trial for attacking a woman she thought was having an affair with the man she loves.
During the trial, the couple try to explain it was all just a big misunderstanding. At the time the incident occurred, the man was higly upset, and went to a family member to talk about his problems. The Housewife didn't know she was related to him, and admits that the whole situation drove her so crazy she probably got a bit obsessed, but that she meant no real harm. The prosecutor in the case has a very hard time believing the story, but luckily for the couple, they seem to be able to charm the judge into believing their story. But will that be enough for a dismissal of the case?
Meanwhile, it seems one of the Desperate Sons will get in even more serious trouble in the finale. SpoilerFix Friday reported that Justin and Andrew, who were most recently seen sexually experimenting together in "Impossible," will now be getting into a fight. We've since learned that this will still only be the beginning of Andrew's character arc, and that a major storyline during the second season will feature his gradual descent into ever nastier behavior.
The as yet untitled Desperate Housewives season finale is currently expected to air on Sunday the 22nd of May. Earlier this week, the syndicated entertainment magazine Extra already ran a brief blurb on the finale, revealing that the secrets behind Mary-Alice's death will definitely be unveiled. However, the program also said that many other major storylines would not be resolved in the finale, but instead would be left as a cliffhanger for the second season.
