Shooting has finished on John Tucker Must Die, the feature film debut of Jesse Metcalfe (John Rowland) where he stars as a less-than-likeable cheater.

According to Tri-City News the film. In it Metcalfe plays the serial-cheating Tucker. But fed up with his ways, three ex-girlfriends plan to seek revenge by setting up him with the new girl in town so that she can then teach him a lesson by subsequently dumping him.

Most filming has taken place in a school, and according to assistant decorator Beth Nelson students were hired to create materials for the film. "We hired about 20 students for two weeks to make artwork for the hallways and banners for the games, things like 'Go Tucker Go,'" Nelson said. "Our people are just so busy and we can't get our heads back to that space. I know I can't draw like a teenager anymore, I'd try and make it too perfect."

John Tucker Must Die, which also stars Ashanti, Sophia Bush (from the WB's One Tree Hill) and Brittany Snow is set for release next year. It is Metcalfe's first film role. As recently reported, Metcalfe is due to leave Desperate Housewives this year. This potentially allows the actor to take on more movie projects.
