Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp) recently appeared on the series premiere of Martha, and soon got involved in activities with which Bree would be quite at home.
Host Martha Stewart joked to her audience that she is often compared to the character of Bree, and admitted she'd gone into Cross's dressing room to compare their hair, skin and clothes—with both of them wearing similar colored clothes. "We're color co-ordinated," laughed Cross.
Stewart congratulated Cross on her Emmy nomination, and asked her if she was excited. "I am," she replied. "I don't have my dress yet which is making me a little nervous." Stewart asked her if she got help with her dress, or if she did it herself. "I get a lot of help," Cross admitted. "In a lot of areas!"
Cross later gave Stewart some gifts of faux fur gloves and apron. The pair went on to more homely matters, practicing t-shirt folding and making scrambled eggs.
