After a stabilization then even some growth in the ratings, Housewives seems to leaking viewers again. ABC was also hurt by tough competition on Sunday.
According to figures released by Zap2it, "Not While I'm Around" scored a 10.6 rating with a 15 share. These figures mean that of all households in the United States with television sets, 10.6% were tuned into DH, as well as 15% of those households actually watching television on Sunday at 9:00pm.
That was down from last week's 11.7/17, which was in turn down from the 13.5/20 the last episode of 2006 scored. It still won the hour, but was facing touch competition with CBS's 60 Minutes and Cold Case close behind on 9.8/14 and FOX's 24 on 9.1/13.
Overall ABC came second in total households, with CBS's NFL playoff broadcast giving it a strong 13.6 clearly ahead of ABC's 7.5/11. In the all-important 18–49 demographic ABC (which is often first) was forced to settle for third. Thanks to NFL CBS scored 7.0, FOX 4.7 and ABC had to settle with 4.5.
Housewives lead-out Brothers & Sisters improved on last week's numbers and scored 8.2/13, coming second in the 10pm hour.
