Continuing its coverage of Desperate Housewives, the Philippine Daily Inquirer has collected together some of the most interesting quotes from the cast members during its recent visit to the sets.

Posted at the INQ7 site, Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) was the most quoted. Talking about being shunned for a Golden Globe, Longoria said: "Some Latinos were ready to riot. That's when I realized the power of the Latino community. But I said, please not to do anything because it has nothing to do with me being Latin. It's funny that, even at the Emmys, I was not nominated, either. But I didn't expect to be nominated at all. I think it's a hard category. It's hard to be let down when you didn't expect anything."

The one quote chosen from Marcia Cross's (Bree Van De Kamp) interviews was that she's not as neat as her character. "A delivery guy came to my house one day. After he dropped a package, he started laughing. I asked, what it was and he said, laughing, 'You are so not Bree Van De Kamp.' I'm trying to be better. They called me Messy Marcia when I was growing up."

One of Felicity Huffman's (Lynette Scavo) quotes was about her new found respect at school. "Where I do get attention is at my kids' nursery school because the mothers come to me and say, 'Oh, last night [on the show], that was exactly what I have been going through.' Or, 'I have that same breakdown.' Or, 'I had that fight with my husband.'"
