Desperate Housewives saw a decline in its ratings with pressure from the season finale of Survivor: Fiji.
According to figures released by Zap2it, "What Would We Do Without You? (1)" scored a 10.0 rating with a 16 share. These figures mean that of all households in the United States with television sets, 10.0% were tuned into DH, as well as 16% of those households actually watching television on Sunday at 9:00pm.
Those figures were down from last week's 11.0/17. Housewives did win its hour, and CBS came second with the season finale of Survivor: Fiji on 8.1/13.
Overall ABC came second in total households with 7.1/13, narrowly beaten by CBS's 7.2/11. In total viewers CBS received 12.16 million viewers in primetime and ABC 12.16 million viewers. ABC was top in the all-important 18–49 demographic, but its lead was narrower than usual with its 4.0 ahead of CBS's 3.7.
ABC remained first in the 10pm hour, with the Survivor: Fiji results and live reunion show in second on 7.2/12 behind Brothers & Sisters on 8.1/14.
