UK broadcaster E4 will start re-running the first season of Desperate Housewives tomorrow, July 13.

The channel, which broadcast the first season along with its sister-channel Channel 4, has been publicizing the return of the show to its schedules with some new advertisements. Brenda Strong narrates the promos in her style that's familiar to fans of the show, that of her character Mary Alice Young talking from beyond the grave.

As with many countries around the world, Channel 4 and E4 received high ratings from airing Desperate Housewives. E4 would air new episodes one week in advance of Channel 4, and the season finale received a 25% audience share with 3.7m. E4 is available on satellite and cable, and recently launched on Freeview.

Get Desperate! has encoded two of the advertisements for download, so that fans can see the E4 advertisements and hear the Mary Alice voiceover. The details are listed below, along with a transcript of Mary Alice's dialogue. The DivX codec is required, which can be obtained from the DivX website.
