Hello World!

I live in a building that originally had fireplaces, so has chimneys, although they are now blocked up apart from a small plastic vent. I've live here twenty years now, but for the first time I had a visitor come down the chimney. Sort of like Santa Claus, except more feathered. Yes, a Starling had entered the chimney fallen down and was stuck behind my vent.

Lots of flapping noises, and because he could see the light through the vent his little beak was pushing through the holes.

So I got a random tool out of the drawer, and with a pull ripped the vent out of the wall. My mother swooped in to pick the bird up, and released him outside. Thankfully he flew out without any trouble, probably mostly dusty from his experience.

I do, however, now have a big hole in my wall.

  Rumors circulated that a DH spin-off was planned. However Marc Cherry wisely gave words of caution. "Next season, there'll be some other hit show, and people's attention will drift over to it," he said. He predicted well, as it is now Grey's Anatomy that will get a spin-off.
  
  
• 'New Mystery' To Come Says Kevin Murphy
  The DH producer alluded to the arrival of Betty Applewhite, promise a new mystery at the end of season one. "I can say that the last couple of episodes will set up a new mystery that's going to happen next year," he said.
  
  
• 'Desperate' Husbands All Worried For Jobs
  The actors were fretting over whether they'd be back for season two. Steven Culp (Rex Van De Kamp) was facing disappointment. "We really don't know what's going to happen, and there's a lot of mystery as to my fate for next season. But I hope I'm back, because I think there's more of the Rex and Bree relationship to explore," he said.
