• Actor Michael Clarke Duncan is such a big fan of Desperate Housewives he left his own film at the cinema, reported contactmusic.com. "I'm thinking, 'I should be doing something. It's Sunday and something is on,' and I realized that Desperate Housewives is on," he said. "I have to admit it... we left the movie. We never miss Desperate Housewives."

• Actor William H. Macy told contactmusic.com that he attended the Golden Globes recently with his wife Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo), but got more the bargained for when they met up with Huffman's co-stars Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer), Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis), Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Britt) and Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp). "Oh my golly," he said, "I had a great time at the Globes... I found myself in the centre with Marcia and Eva and Felicity and there's all this 'boobular' activity all over the place. [I was] watching them as they leaned over and whispered to each other... Thanks for the mammories!"

• James Denton (Mike Delfino) admitted to contactmusic.com that he's prepared to take a non-acting career if he can't find work in acting. "I've been on the other side of it, in shows that no one has wanted to watch. The last TV show I was in was put up against Friends, Survivor and The Apprentice, so of course no one watched it. I still treat every job as if I might never get hired again."

• Jesse Metcalfe (John Rowland) wants to shed his pin-up image and be taken more seriously as an actor. "In Hollywood, even for actors like Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, it's been difficult for them to gain respect, he told contactmusic.com. "They have gained respect as good actors, but when they first came on the scene, they were the cute, hunky guys. It might be difficult for me to shed my beefcake label."

• Eva Longoria decided to give more thoughts on the Vanity Fair article which said there were tensions at the photoshoot. "I'm really disappointed in the article," she told The INSIDER. "I think it's severely inaccurate. Marcia [Cross] took a bullet for, uh, no reason."

• James Denton has spoken to Tennessean.com about kissing Reba in the show Reba.

• Baby clothes company Angelic Genius has issued a press release touting the fact that one of its products was bought by Jesse Metcalfe for co-star James Denton's baby.
