The official details for the next new episode of Desperate Housewives have been released.
"Goodbye For Now" will air on Sunday May 15 2005 at 9pm. It will have an encore presentation on Saturday May 21 at 10pm, a day before the season finale on ABC. Here are the official details:
Susan makes a decision about Mike Delfino. Meanwhile Lynette takes steps to make sure Annabel doesn't come between her and Tom, Bree comes to a realization about "buddy" George the pharmacist, and Carlos's legal problems take a turn for the worse.
This is the second episode directed by David Grossman—a director of shows such as Buffy, Angel, Lost and CSI—and was written by Josh Senter.

- Zane Huette as Parker Scavo
- Brent Kinsman as Preston Scavo
- Shane Kinsman as Porter Scavo
- Roger Bart as George Williams

As with last week, all characters have appeared in previous episodes. This will be Sansom Harris's eighth appearance, and McGraw's third.
The week's Stephen Sondheim episode title comes from a song featured in the 1981 movie Reds. Sung by Perry Como, its full name is "Goodbye For Now (Love Theme from Reds)". You can read the lyrics here.
