• ANI reported that Felicity Huffman (Lunette Scavo) said she felt she was a pumpkin now, after her Cinderella-like Oscars evening. "I love my pumpkinhood. I mean, my God, I was sitting in the front row. That was astounding. I was sitting next to Terrence Howard and his son Campbell. I was sitting in front of Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock. I was sitting in front of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith. I don't know what the hell I am doing there."

• Blogcritics.org gave Felicity Huffman's Transamerica a glowing review. "Felicity Huffman's performance in this movie is absolutely phenomenal. For a woman to play a man who is becoming a woman in itself is incredible. She has to completely strip herself of her own mannerisms and even her own voice, to completely re-learn femininity. • HBO's The Sopranos will return to its schedules against Desperate Housewives, reported MSNBC. "It's going to be really interesting, because obviously Desperate Housewives sort of snuck in while The Sopranos was on its extended hiatus," said Newsweek's television critic Marc Peyser.

• Sharon Lawrence (Maisy Gibbons) has joined the cast of CW pilot Palm Springs, according to The Futon Critic. The pilot is a "coming-of-age drama about a troubled teen who moves to a gated community in Palm Springs where he uncovers some dark secrets". In other pilot news, Arlene Sanford—who has directed six episodes of Housewives to date—will direct Fox's More, Patience about "a New York psychiatrist who neurotically mishandles her own life".

• Sunday Mail took a look at the return of Desprate Housewives to Malaysian TV schedules. "With season one ending on a rather down note, Desperate Housewives season two begins with less hype than one would imagine after an amazing first season run. But, no matter what the mood may be, there's no denying the success of the show, and how quickly it became an overnight sensation."
