February 12, 2006 - 5:17 PMHello World! I bet you were all so upset not to get my site column last week (as if), but I was at a Stargate Atlantis convention. I'm not even that much of a fan of the show, but they can be good social occasions—and that's primarily why I went along.
I won't be around next week either, as I'm off to Germany for a few days.
I'm almost going to sound like some seasoned traveller... but oh no, not me. I can count the countries I've visited on one hand: France, Spain and the USA. Rather sad, really.
And the Atlantis convention? Well that was just 45 minutes away in London. Hardly backpacking around the globe. Still, I hope to add Canada and Mexico to my list later in the year.
