Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) has revealed details on her recent engagement, including about how nervous her boyfriend Tony Parker was when he proposed.

"I was heading home from a long day on the set," she told People magazine, via EURweb.com recounting the proposal. "He had been playing in Utah, so I was just shocked to see him in L.A. I thought it was so weird, sort of, 'Why are you here? What's going on? Oh my God! It's happening!'" She said that he proposed to her surrounded by candles and rose petals. "I cried my eyes out. I was mostly touched by how nervous he was. I was like, 'You know I'm going to say yes. Why are you so nervous?' But I guess every man gets nervous at that point."

BreakNews.ie meanwhile reported on how Longoria's excitement at telling her on-set friends. "Marcia [Cross] and Felicity [Huffman] and I are really, really close. Telling them was really exciting!" she said, referring to the actresses that play Bree and Lynette. "Marcia came into my trailer and Tony was with me. She was like, 'Tony, what are you doing here?' And then she looks at my hand and goes 'Aaaaah!' She let out the biggest scream. We were laughing so hard.'"

Cross then contacted Huffman and told her to phone Longoria, leading to some worry for Huffman. "I said, 'Is something wrong? Is she crying? What's the matter?' So I called going, 'Eva, are you ok, honey?' And she went, 'I'm engaaaaged!'"
