• In a follow up to his poll on the worst looking celebs in high-def TV (story), where Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer) came out worst, Phillip Swann has now named the 10 best looking over at TV Predictions, and Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) has been chosen as the best. Many people probably won't find the list that surprising... that Swann believes the likes of David Letterman, Donald Trump and 40-year old actresses don't look as flawless on high definition TV as likes of 30-year old face of L'Oreal Longoria and 19-year old Mischa Barton from The O.C..

• Eva Longoria told New Woman that she doesn't want to be typecast, reported The Sun. "I want roles that are the opposite of Gabrielle—I don't want to be known as just a sexpot, it's so hard to break out of. Even though Jennifer Aniston's had huge success, she'll always be Rachel Green."

• Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker said she sympathizes with the rumors of on-set fights on Desperate Housewives, reported contactmusic.com. "You never hear this sort of thing about a male-oriented show," she said. "I just think it's more interesting for journalists to report that women can't get along. And frankly it's totally disrespectful because no one puts the same expectations on men. "But I'm sure the Desperate Housewives [cast] will weather it. They'll get savvy."

• contactmusic.com claims that Teri Hatcher has sworn to never buy dinner again after her divorce from husband Jon Tenney left her broke. "Let's put it this way, I will never pay for dinner again. I will never pull out my credit card on a date again," she apparently said.

• Entertainment Wise reported that Eva Longoria claimed she couldn't get some jobs because she was too good looking. "I've lost a lot of jobs because I was too pretty," she apparently said. "And everybody's like, 'Oh, poor you.' But seriously, you don't get the good roles when you're beautiful."

• Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo) apparently named her prosthetic penis in TransAmerica Andy, according to contactmusic.com. "They're incredibly lifelike, and for some reason we named him Andy," she apparently told New York Daily News. "And he stayed with me for the entire shoot."

• Eva Longoria recounted meeting boyfriend Tony Parker for the first time, reported contactmusic.com. "When Desperate Housewives took off, my dad and I were invited to a game to meet the players. My dad went into the locker room and the staff said to me, 'You can go in too.' "I was like 'No way!' I so didn't want to see anyone naked or in towels. But I went in, and I met Tony."

• OurSports Central reported that James Denton (Mike Delfino) will be the guest celebrity for the December 10 game between The Arkansas RimRockers and Albuquerque.

• George Clooney joked that if his new movie Syriana fails then he'd like to get a role on Desperate Housewives, reported DenverPost.com. "Well, you know, if [Syriana] flops, I may. I may have to."

• The London Free Press claims that the producers of Desperate Housewives are seeking Sandra Bullock for a role.

• The LA Times reported on Joely Fisher's (Nina Fletcher) new house. Apparently the actress is "desperate for a little more space" as she is expecting her second child—so she is moving to $3.5m house.
