Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) recently gave her views of the other castmembers, and said the any "bitching" on set is just chat between friends.

Speaking about Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp), Longoria told Elle magazine that "Marcia is a very strong woman. She won't take shit from anyone. She has the most beautiful face with perfect skin and amazing blue eyes. She's a very loyal friend." Longoria was also particularly positive about Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Britt). "Nicolette was the first of the cast I bonded with," she said. "She told me that if anyone was mean to me, I was to tell her and she'd sort it. I know she'd always be in my corner."

Longoria complimented Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer) on her comedy and culinary skills. "Teri is really funny. She has almost as many bad date stories as me. She's so grateful that fame has happened second time round. She's also a great cook." And Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo) "really is a sister type; maternal with a lot of quiet grace. We and Marcia meet up for dinner regularly. She's a great listener and really good company."

Not an interview can go buy without rumors of friction on set, and while Longoria admitted there was bitching on set, she said it wasn't of the type that the media has portrayed. "Yes, there is lots of bitching," Longoria admitted. "We all sit around gossiping, bitching, about our bad dates; that's pretty much all the bitching there is. The girls get on well and are so proud to be part of the show. Egos just don't get in the way. All the girls are loving, nurturing, talented women who are incredibly grateful for the success of the show."
