Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) recently said she'd be happy to have her Sentinel co-star Michael Douglas on Desperate Housewives to play her "older lover", and he has now commented on the possiblity of a role.
"It might happen," he told The Insider. "The last time I did a TV show, I was a gay detective on Will & Grace, so this would be a step upwards." But he pondered whether he'd have to be Gabrielle's new gardener. "Do I have to cut her lawn?"
Douglas also talked about having to fire guns in the film, and said the Longoria was probably better than most police offers. "Kiefer [Sutherland], of course, has done 24 and I've done my share, and then there's Eva, and she's just a great shot. She doesn't rub it in too much, but we were slightly humbled. She probably shoots better than 90 percent of the police officers in the country."
He also spoke to Maxim about the movie, according to The Daily Telegraph. The article includes a picture of the massive Maxim cover featuring Longoria that can be seen from space. "I guess space is no longer my final frontier. I am flattered to say the least," said Longoria.
