  • Karla Peterson has written an article about Lynette Scavo, arguing the character has undergone a character makeover—and not for the better. Listing the good and the bad, she asks: "Now, Lynette is such a crazy, manipulative brat, who cares why she does anything? And really, who cares about her?" You can read the article over at The San Diego Union-Tribune.

  • Derrik J. Lang has written an article for the AP about how the "writers have been erroneously evil to [Edie] Britt" and her treatment in the show.

  • Gay.com has an article pondering whether Andrew Van De Kamp will come out. "When a family member comes out, at some point each of the other family members have to 'come out' as well," TV Gay Guide's Richard Kravitz told the site. "As Bree is all about appearances, will she acknowledge this to her friends on Wisteria Lane?"

  • BostonHerald.com has an article on whether shows like Desperate Housewives are sexist against men.

  • Pamela Sitt has written about her job and meeting Jesse Metcalfe (John Rowland) in an article for the Seattle Times called "I love Jesse Metcalfe! (But not as much as I love TV)".

  • L'Oreal has officially announced the signing of Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) to promote its products (story). Her first commercial will be for VIVE and will debut in the spring, according to a L'Oreal press release. "I've always been the ugly duckling in my family," said Eva, "so now to have L'Oreal select me as a spokesperson is a wonderful honor."

  • Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp) will promote Revlon's annual Run/Walk For Women's Breast Cancer event, after learning a friend is suffering from the disease, reported contactmusic.com. She will appear in an upcoming public service announcement promoting the event which will take place in New York and Los Angeles over successive weekends on April 30 and May 7 2005.

  • Ricardo Antonio Chavira (Carlos Solis) will be on the George Lopez Show on April 12 2005 according to Ultimate Desperate Housewives.

  • James Denton (Mike Delfino) will be at Southern Women's Show, NC State Fairgrounds, at 1025 Blue Ridge Rd., Raleigh, NC at the Fashion and Entertainment Stage on April 24 2005 according to Ultimate Desperate Housewives.

  • Julie Bowen (Julie Mayer) will be host TV Guide's Live From the Orange Carpet at the 18th Annual Kids Choice Awards, according to Andrea-Bowen.com. Visit the site for the dates and times.

  • Wanting to get some tips to improve your image? Desperate Housewives stylist Cate Adair will be hosting a "wardrobe workshop" at Marshall Field's "April Solutions" event, which will be held on April 15 at State Street and April 16 at Oakbrook, reported Chicago Sun-Times.

  • A press release has been issued about the S Factor, a workout demonstrated by Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer)on The Oprah Winfrey Show.

  • The Juno Awards received their second highest ratings in the last seven years. 93% percent stayed on from CTV's hybrid Desperate Housewives/pre-awards program (story) reported The Edmonton Sun

  • ABC has a dilemma, according to the New York Post, on whether to allow Grey's Anatomy or Boston Legal to have Desperate Housewives' lead-out time slot. But according to a more recent article at Zap2it Grey's Anatomy will keep its slot and five episodes of Boston Legal will be kept over to form a 27-episode season season for the show.

  • The Winnipeg Sun has posted an article on ABC's ratings expectations, and since successes such as Desperate Housewives how Eyes' debut performance doesn't seem as good as it would have done a year ago. It also speaks to to Eyes executive producer John McNamara who is trying to rally support amongst critics for his show.

  • According to Zap2it ABC has picked up Desperate Housewives' lead-in show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition for another season. Meanwhile, Disney is reportedly thinking of moving "Monday Night Football" from ABC to ESPN, reported New York Times (via mlive.com).

  • Desperate Fans has posted news images of Teri Hatcher at Comedy for a Cure, Andrew Bowen at the 4th Annual "Nuts for Muts" and screencaps from "The Ladies Who Lunch.

  • Hello! has a photo of Teri Hatcher with her daughter after a night out enjoying The King And I.

  • JesseMetcalfe.net has posted new wallpapers of Jesse.

  • Eva Longoria Tribute has posted screencaps from "There Won't Be Trumpets" and some new videos.
