In the thirteenth episode of season two, Gabrielle upsets a priest .

Maybe in an attempt to come to terms with Carlos's religious awakening, Get Desperate! sources revealed that Gabrielle attends church. However she soon causes a disturbance when balks at the opportunity to eat bread—"the body of Christ"—as she's on a no-carb diet.

Meanwhile one of the Wisteria Lane residents is caught in a spat with a neighbor over who owns a fruit tree. When she tries to offer an amicable solution her neighbor tells her "no" in no uncertain terms, leaving her shocked.

In other news, Marc Cherry told USA TODAY that Jay Harrington will join the cast of Desperate Housewives next year as Dr. Ron, a love interest for Susan Mayer. Harrington's role include Summerland, NBC's Coupling and The Inside. He has guested on Star Trek: Voyager, The Shield and Las Vegas.
