Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) and her boyfriend Tony Parker recently appeared together on The Oprah Winfrey Show, and the show gave Longoria's parents' house a makeover.

According to the show's official website, Longoria bought her parents a big new house. "Every day [my mom] wakes up and says, 'I feel like I won the lottery!'" she said. But Longoria didn't want her to decorate the new house as she used to. "My mom only buys furniture that requires an instruction kit and an Allen wrench."

So decorator Nate Berkus dropped in on the Longoria parents, and told them: "Your lovely daughter calls The Oprah Show and says, 'I want my parents to have beautiful, beautiful things.' So that's what the surprise is and that's why we're here!"

Longoria's mother was ecstatic with the result. "I feel like I'm in Mexico. It's great... it's wonderful!" she said. Longoria herself was so happy with the result that she gave Oprah's Angel Network a $50,000 donation to sponsor a Katrina Home from Oprah's Katrina Homes Registry.

Longoria's boyfriend Parker paid tribute to his girlfriend's love of families. "I really thought she was very beautiful inside and had a good heart," he said. "She's very family oriented, and me... I love my family and my friends. ... She's the same way."
