To reflect the success of Desperate Housewives, Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer) will receive a whopping 650% pay increase when she starts work on season two.
The actress, whose last big ABC success was Lois and Clark back in the '90s, will see her paycheck go from $38,000 to $285,000 per episode, according to World Entertainment News Network (via Seattle Post-Intelligencer).
The site also reports that raises are being given to Hatcher's co-stars Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Britt), Felicity Huffman (Lynette Scavo), Marcia Cross (Bree Van De Kamp) and Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis). As well as the cash boost, each of them will also be getting a Mini Cooper as a gift.
