Marcia Cross People Guide,
Marc Cherry People Guide After losing her husband, falling our with her son and hooking up with a psycho Marcia Cross thinks its time for Bree to have some happiness.
"Orson has a secret, but I am praying for Bree that he's not an evil man," she told TV Guide. "He's a dream man for her. And I want her to experience a rebirth of her femininity and youth. But right now, she's being pushed to ask questions about whether she can trust him". She said that she wanted Bree to experience a "real relationship" not focused on the pursuit of perfection. "It's just not healthy fore Bree to have these idealistic fantasies about men and to never get beyond that. She never grew with Rex. I'd love to see her grow by wrestling with Orson's foibles and not brushing every single human emotion under the rug." But Marc Cherry didn't give too much away, of course. "Orson has more baggage than she ever bargained for," he said ominously. "Bree sticks rights by Orson because he's such a perfect match for a controlling, repressed WASP like her."
To add to her woes, Andrew and Danielle will be back in the picture soon. Andrew will apparently bond with Bree in a way that he hasn't before. "It's a very funny moment that we had a blast doing", recalled Cross. Then Danielle returns with a bombshell that "forces Bree to get involved and question all her motherly instincts," said Cherry.
Which leads us to Cross's pregnancy. TV Guide reportsed that, contrary to rumors, Cross is expecting just one baby. Cross said she's relieved that her pregnancy won't be written into the show. "I don't need everyone in America watching to see how big I am each week." Cherry has already devised some high-tech solutions to covering her pregnancy. "This season will be all about Bree carrying big bouquets of flowers and giant shopping bags". And that's bound to be cheaper than airbrushing out Teri Hatcher's nipples.
