For the third episode of season two, viewers will see many elements of the law at work—including scenes from jail, detective interviews, arrests and polygraph tests.
Get Desperate! sources revealed that the Desperate Housewives theme of questionable associations is set to continue after new guest character Sylvia Novak is confronted by one of the housewives over her involvement with one of the Wisteria Lane teenagers. Married, fourty-four years of ages and with two seventeen year old children Novak is challenged for potentially derailing a young man's life.
Gabrielle meanwhile is trouble with the law after Carlos Solis was attacked in prison, leaving him in need of medical attention. A detective stresses he's just investigating after anomalies were found in the doctor's report. But Gabrielle's nervousness is against her as the detective coolly drops details which make Gabrielle sound very suspicious. Is she digging herself a hole? The detective casually hints that someone provided incriminating information against her, which alarms Gabrielle. She assumes it is John and warns the detective to ignore him as he's got a vendetta against her. But the detective gives nothing away.
So Gabrielle is given a polygraph to see if she knows anything about the attempted murder of her husband. She is asked to confirm various statements, including her name. But she provides some surprisingly results when she's asked whether she loves John. Gabrielle says no, but the wildly jumping needle tells a different story...
Back at Wisteria Lane yet another new gardener is working for Gabrielle, this one named Ralph. However this one isn't quite the toned teenager that Gabrielle is used to, but rather a short hairy man. Perhaps aware of her reputation for liking gardeners, Ralph leers at her and asks to enter the house to use the bathroom. But she claims all four of them are not working, and shuts the door in his face.
Bree meanwhile causes embarassment at Danielle's Sunday School recital with her musical abilities and the police receive a letter claiming credit for an attack which somehow involves diamonds. Finally, it seems like Desperate Housewives may be making its first visit away from Fairview and to a real-life location, as this episode will show the first seeds of a murder mystery set in Philadelphia. But what is the connection with the events in Wisteria Lane?
Please note that the above plot details have not been confirmed by ABC or Touchstone Television, and until such time you should treat this information as you would any other rumor.
