In the eighth episode of season two, an old boyfriend causes upset and fear strikes Wisteria Lane after a break in.

Get Desperate! sources revealed that there's friction when one of the housewives is out on a date. An old flame arrives, whom the housewife dumped many years ago. However there still seems to be a spark, and he swoops in to take her for a dance. However her date is none too happy, and soon interrupts proceedings. He also has some information up his sleeve to dispose of the ex-love interest.

Meanwhile the police are called when someone an unwelcome guest is lurking around one of the houses, and hysteria grips Wisteria after a break in leaves one resident wanting to arm himself with a gun for self defense.

Also in the episode, a housewife learns disturbing information from an ex-lover of her boyfriend after an engagement announcement is "mistakenly" printed in a newspaper, while a minister presides over a strange wedding which turns into a cat fight.
