• The June 5 edition of TV Guide will be taking a look at the sexiest men in television, according to a press release. Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer) provided her insight into why James Denton (Mike Delfino) is popular. "The sexiest thing about Jamie is his approachability," she said. "He's kind of a cowboy. You know, salt of the earth, manly man. But his real sex appeal comes from an inner place. He puts no effort into it; he's just sort of is, and that's much sexier than working at it. And of course, his character has that handyman thing going on—there's nothing wrong with being handy! He's certainly giving plumbers a good name. It's every woman's fantasy that if we call 1-800-Clean-My-Pipes, that's who would show up at our door. If only it were true, we'd all be shoving Popsicle sticks down our sinks."

• Marcia cross (Bree Van de Kamp) told TV Guide that supporting charities was spurred on by a tragedy when she was younger. "I lost someone when I was in my early 30s, so I feel like I lost my naive virginity then," she said. "Things happen to people you love and they happen at any moment and at any time."

• BostonHerald.com spoke to a former neighbor of Marcia Cross. "She used to come over and rearrange the dolls. And just try to get her away from the china closet!" But he said she's "she's just a normal gal" when he met her again recently.

• Creator Marc Cherry reportedly said he look for a partner until he's a multi-millionaire, reported Celebrity Spider. "I'm going to wait until I have a few million put aside. I'll get a better partner once I'm rich," he said.

• Ricardo Antonio Chavira (Carlos Solis) played down the fact that he featured in the 50 Most Beautiful People in People en Español. "I'm sure I was No. 49 or 50," he told My San Antonio. He also said that he expects to return for season two of Desperate Housewives.

• The Independent, in a feature about Geri Halliwell, claimed that the singer was in line for the role of Susan Mayer, and ultimately lost out in the last round to Teri Hatcher.

• According to FemaleFirst.co.uk, Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Britt) bought Oprah Winfrey a pet dog.
