• Nicolette Sheridan (Edie Britt) has broken up with her fiancé, Sheridan's publicist Nicole Perna told People. "Nicolette Sheridan and Nicklas Soderblom have parted ways after a year and a half. They ask that you respect their privacy at this time." And according to Herald Sun, Sheridan's ex-boyfriend Simon Main has denied any involvement with the split after rumors circulated that they'd had met for dinner. "We are just mates, that's all," he said. "There is nothing going on. I've got nothing to say. No comment."

• contactmusic.com claims that Eva Longoria (Gabrielle Solis) has the initials of her boyfriend tattooed on an intimate area. "I'm not saying where it is," she allegedly said, "but let's just say he gets to view it on a very regular basis." Perhaps giving a clue to the tattoo's location, Herald Sun reported on Melbourne's Derby Day where Longoria was once again talking about Parker and said that "he is my everything. He is never far from my heart." ninemsn also reported on the event, and reported that Longoria gained most attention "wearing an orange Alex Perry dress".

• With a recent rumor that TV personality Dr. Phil could be making a guest appearance on Desperate Housewives, the Sunday Express newspaper cooked up an elaborate theory. It claims that Marc Cherry is concerned by supposed "dwindling ratings" with Desperate Housewives, and has called in Dr Phil to help the castmembers which will in turn some how improve ratings. Of course a set insider was on hand, who said that castmembers are attending "mental medicine" meetings. "He's been counselling the girls one-on-one and as a group. He's really tough on them," said the supposed insider. "If there's a problem, he won't let them leave until they pour out exactly how they're feeling." The paper claims the sessions are working because Eva Longoria enjoyed herself at the Melbourne Derby Day!

• Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer) revealed her Hallowe'en plans to USATODAY.COM, saying that she planned to leave the Desperate Housewives set early on Monday so that she could take her daughter out trick-or-treating in a Corpse Bride outfit. "I hand-sewed the whole thing and did all her makeup," said Hatcher. She added that her she can relate to the film's title character, and said "my whole life has been like Chicken Little."

• The Sun reported that Jesse Metcalfe (John Rowland) ranked second in an OK! poll of Hollywood's hottest bachelors. Coming first in the poll was Owen Wilson.
