The official details for the next new episode of Desperate Housewives have been released.
"You Could Drive a Person Crazy" will air on Sunday October 2 2005 at 9pm. Here are the official details:
Susan is surprised, and not pleasantly so, when she finds out who Edie's new boyfriend is. Meanwhile Lynette goes back to work, leaving Tom at home in charge of the house, which turns out to be a better plan in theory. Bree's mother-in-law, Phyllis, continues to drive Bree crazy with her melodramatic grieving, and Carlos makes an unusual request of Gabrielle.
The episode was directed by David Grossman who returns for third time; Grossman also directed an episode of ABC show Lost last season. The episode is written by Chris Black.

Terry Bozeman returns to make his third appearance as Rex's doctor, and Harry S. Murphy is back as Headmaster Lentz. Brian George, starring in this episode as Mr. Pashmutt, has been a guest actor on countless TV programs, including an episode of Lois and Clark with Teri Hatcher (Susan Mayer).
The episode title this week is taken from a Stephen Sondheim song from Company, which explores the lives of five married couples through the eyes of a bachelor. You can read the lyrics of the song.
