Plot details and a screenshot have been released for the forthcoming Desperate Housewives mobile game.

Following on from the announcement last August (story) that Housewives would be heading to mobile/wireless/cell phones in the form of a new game, Pocket Gamer has the details on what it'll involve. "Susan, Bree, Lynette, Gabrielle, Edie... they're all present and correct," wrote Stuart Dredge at the site. "The plot concerns a new neighbor who moves into Wisteria Lane and promptly shakes things up with a little murder, blackmail, and adultery. Although to be honest, that's business as usual."

In the article, which includes a screenshot of the game featuring the likeness of Teri Hatcher as Susan Mayer, Dredge said there will be six locations, featured in the game and eight mini-games to play. He added that you'd get to play as the different Housewives characters too.

"Both Lost and Desperate Housewives have loyal and dedicated fans, and we are excited to be able to bring them more ways to interact and engage with their favorite shows and characters," said Bruce Gersh, senior vice president of business development at ABC Entertainment and Touchstone Television, last August. "We look forward to working together with Gameloft to develop games that capture the defining essence of each show."

Pocket Gamer said the game's release is "imminent".
